Let’s start with good news. Galaxy Xcover pro has a removable back cover. You’ll need a heat gun and a pry tool to get the screen out, everything after that held down by standard Phillips head screws.
You can see a rubber gasket covering it to ensure the phone meets the IP68 requirements for water resistance. But the battery can be swapped out without any tools. It is a big deal.
