Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy S26 FE is on the way, and the company is expected to launch it later this year. While Samsung remains silent on the official specifications, a new leak has revealed the phone’s camera setup. However, the Galaxy S26 FE may not bring major camera upgrades over its predecessor.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE camera specifications tipped
According to a report from Android Authority, the Galaxy S26 FE, codenamed “r14,” will feature a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KGN3 primary camera. Samsung will reportedly pair it with an 8MP OmniVision OV08A1 telephoto camera that offers 3x optical zoom. Notably, Samsung already used the same primary and telephoto sensors on last year’s Galaxy S25 FE.
The leak also claims the phone will include two 12MP sensors: the GalaxyCore GC12A2 and the Sony IMX825. However, the report does not specify which sensor will power the ultrawide camera and which one will handle selfies. Regardless, both cameras are expected to offer a 12MP resolution, matching the Galaxy S25 FE.
The cameras may not be the only hardware Samsung carries over from the previous model. A recent certification also revealed that the Galaxy S26 FE could support 45W wired fast charging, the same charging speed offered by the Galaxy S25 FE.
Samsung has yet to announce an official launch date, but multiple reports suggest the Galaxy S26 FE will debut later this year. More details should surface in the coming weeks.
