Samsung Galaxy S22 series’ cameras to deliver major update

Samsung Galaxy S22 series‘ cameras to deliver major update. The company announced today that their new software update for the Galaxy S22 series would add new features to their cameras. The hyperlapse videos will now be available on the telephoto camera, and the QR scanner will be improved.

The hyperlapse option in the Camera app will offer 3 new recording options for wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto lenses. A cool feature called Astro Hyperlapse, already in development that could take better night sky photos, is also being introduced.

The QR Scanner gets a bigger scanning area and offers a tap to scan if it cannot find codes automatically. There’s also a bug that needs fixing now – you couldn’t just dismiss the message behind the QR code and have to close the app or follow an unwanted URL link instead of rejecting them.

Other improvements are happening in areas such as HDR Performance and color reproduction. Memory usage and AI Performance in Photo, Video, and Night modes have optimized smoother navigation on older Galaxy flagships like the S21 series. Still, no update for the S31 series from Samsung in this area is coming.
