Talk Android points out that the Galaxy S20 series received One UI 3.1 shortly after the release of the S21 series, and Samsung may be planning to release the update soon. We’ve also seen Samsung’s efforts to increase OTA updates to its devices when it announced that S21 and the S21 as well as the S22 series will receive updates for longer that Android phones are typically expected to receive.
It’s only a week remaining in February and, should this Verizon spokesperson be right this could mean that there will be only a few days to go before the One UI 4.1 is available for Samsung’s flagship phones in 2021. One UI 4.1 introduces virtual RAM, which allows you to expand usable RAM using unneeded storage. It also has a revamped color palette selector, “Smart Stacks” widgets which allow you to stack or swipe across them and Pro Mode to add additional cameras.
