Samsung Galaxy M53 5G over its A-series siblings? There is a difference between the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is at Rs 42,000 while the A53 5G is priced at Rs35,000. What if there were something in between? This could be the latest Samsung Galaxy M53 5G, that was unveiled this week. We don’t yet exactly how much it’ll cost.

We were waiting for the price of the A73 also and we think that’s how Samsung is going these times. But the M53 is likely to cost more than the A73 because of some downgrades. In addition it comes with the identical 6.7″ Super AMOLED Plus display that has a 120Hz refresh rate, the same main camera with 108MP (sans OIS) and identical batteries that are 5,000 mAh with a 25W charge.

In comparison with Samsung’s Galaxy A53, the Galaxy M53 is bigger in screen (6.7″ as opposed to. 6.5″), but it’s not as protected (no IP rating, vs. IP67 on the A series pair). The M53 also comes with an ultrawide camera with lower resolution (8MP instead of. 12 MP). Video recording capabilities are similar with 4K resolution , which is capped at 30 frames per second (a 60 fps option can be found at 1080p). Perhaps the most significant difference is the processor – the Dimensity 900 that is used in the M53 is noticeably slower in both GPU and CPU tests as compared to that of the Snapdragon 778G.

We’re not yet able to determine how the Exynos 1280 within the A53 is performing, however, its hardware configuration is identical to that of the Dimensity and we shouldn’t expect any significant differences in terms of computing power. Since there’s no zoom camera in Galaxy M53 and A73 Galaxy M53 and A73, the camera’s high-resolution is the primary selling point as it will not only provide quality photos as well as zooming into. 5G is another important feature in the M53 specifications.

There are many 4G smartphones with a 108-megapixel sensor, e.g. the latest Realme 9, which costs less than Rs16,000 and is far under any of the highest predictions for the M53’s price. It sports less compact 6.4″ Super AMOLED screen, but lower refresh rates (90Hz) along with the Snapdragon 680 isn’t everyone’s preferred however the 5,000 mAh battery can charge faster (33W 5-100%, 0-50% within 31 minutes, and 100% in 75 minutes).

It’s the Redmi Note11S, which is a different 4G variant, and costs just Rs17,500 for the exact 6/128 GB version like the M53. It also comes with less compact 6.43″ 90 Super AMOLED display, as well as a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging 33W (which makes it more effective as the zero to 100% time is just under one hour). But it is true that it’s the Helio G96 is quite old for a phone that was released in 2022.
