Samsung Galaxy M47 5G to launch in India soon, design and specs surfaced online
Samsung has officially started teasing the upcoming Galaxy M47 5G in India. The company recently shared teaser videos on X, giving fans an early look at the smartphone’s design before launch. While Samsung has not confirmed the specifications yet, recent leaks and benchmark listings have revealed several key details.

The teaser shows the Galaxy M47 5G in a new Red/Maroon finish paired with a Black frame. Samsung has also redesigned the camera module, which now features a pill-shaped layout with matching red accents around it.
A recent Geekbench listing suggests Samsung will power the device with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. The listing also reveals 8GB RAM and Android 16 running out of the box.
According to leaked specifications, the Galaxy M47 5G will feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung is also expected to protect the screen with Gorilla Glass Victus+ and offer an IP64-rated dust and splash-resistant body.
For photography, the smartphone could feature a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, Samsung may equip the device with a 12MP selfie camera for photos and video calls.
The company is also expected to pair the Snapdragon chipset with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. This combination should deliver smoother multitasking and faster app loading speeds. On the software side, the phone will likely run One UI 8.5 based on Android 16.
Samsung may pack a 5,000mAh battery inside the Galaxy M47 5G. The device is expected to support 25W fast charging.
Reports currently suggest a starting price of around ₹25,000 in India. Samsung has yet to announce an official launch date. However, with teasers already live, the Galaxy M47 5G could make its debut in the coming weeks.
