The Galaxy A07s, meanwhile, carries model number SM-A077M and uses the same Helio G99 chipset and Mali-G57 GPU setup. However, it is listed with 4GB of RAM and Android 16.

The Helio G99 has already appeared in Samsung’s affordable 4G smartphones, including the Galaxy A07 4G. It should offer enough performance for everyday tasks, social media, and light multitasking.

The Galaxy A08 has also appeared in Wi-Fi Alliance and BIS databases, including the SM-A085F/DS variant. FCC certification reportedly points to a larger battery than the 5,000mAh unit found on the Galaxy A07. The rated capacity is around 5,830mAh, suggesting Samsung could market it as a 6,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging.

Design-wise, the Galaxy A08 is expected to feature a waterdrop notch on the front and a dual-camera setup on the rear. The A08 appears to be the better-equipped model, while the A07s is likely to sit below it in Samsung’s budget lineup.
