The new A-series Samsung smartphone will be unveiled on January 18 at midnight IST, according to the company’s official Indian website. The webpage has several teasers and a registration form for anyone interested in being alerted about the debut.
These point to the Galaxy A54 being the main attraction at next week’s event, despite previous rumors suggesting it would debut even sooner than its predecessor (in January). There’s your clue. Also, the future Samsung phone will have a 120 Hz screen, much like the A54.

The phone will be available in Awesome Black, Awesome Burgundy, and Awesome Green, all of which were previously shown in a batch of leaked renderings from the end of December. Thus, it seems evident that the Galaxy A54 will be the focus of the January 18 presentation, even if the company doesn’t explicitly name the device.
The only other choice is the Galaxy A34, but there has never been any evidence to support the rumors that it won’t have a 90 Hz screen. Keep in mind that possibility and the possibility that I’m entirely incorrect.
Two more discrepancies exist: first, the aforementioned leaked renderings also revealed a white A54, which isn’t being teased, and second, the rumors always said the device would feature a 6.4″ screen, but the official website claims 6.6″. One way or another, everything will become crystal evident in a little over a week when the big revelation occurs.
