Redmi Turbo 6 Max tipped with 185Hz LTPO display, global launch as Poco X9 Pro Max

Redmi’s flagship device Redmi Turbo 5 Max launched back in January this year. We are at the end of 2026, and close to another January, so the company is on the process of introducing the successor Redmi Turbo 6 Max. Already we got design leak of this flagship device. Now, a new Chinese leaker revealed the Redmi Turbo 6 Max’s display details.

Redmi Turbo 6 Max could get a flagship display upgrade

According to the leaker, the Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 6 Max is going to arrive with a flagship display. The display would be massive in size almost 7 inches, and may sport 2K resolution. The same details were first surfaced back in July this year. However, the latest leak has revealed some additional details. The display is said to use LIPO packaging, which reduces the bottom bezel to match the other three sides, leaving around 1mm bezels on all four sides. It will reportedly also feature large rounded corners, BT.2020 color support, and a high-brightness, low-power substrate.

The Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 5 Max featured a 6.83-inch 1280×2772 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. So, this would be a major upgrade on the display of Redmi Turbo 6 Max. The same tipster previously claimed that the phone would have the Dimensity 9500s chipset and a massive battery of over 10,000mAh.

The Redmi Turbo 5 Max was launched globally as the Poco X8 Pro Max. So we may see the Turbo 6 Max as Poco X9 Pro Max in global markets.
