A new leak has revealed the first look at the upcoming Redmi Turbo 6 Max, giving us a glimpse of its redesigned rear panel. The phone is still months away from launch, but the latest leak also hints at several major upgrades.

According to a Nokia Power User report, the newly leaked render suggests the Redmi Turbo 6 Max will adopt a completely new design. The phone appears to replace Redmi’s traditional vertical camera layout with a wide horizontal camera module spanning the upper rear panel.

The report also notes that the device features flat sides and a surprisingly slim chassis, giving it an appearance similar to Apple’s iPhone Air despite housing a huge battery.

According to previous leaks, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max could feature a 7-inch flat display with a 2K resolution. The phone may pack a massive 10,000mAh battery, offering a 1,000mAh increase over its predecessor.

Under the hood, Redmi may continue using the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. However, the company is also reportedly considering the upcoming Dimensity 9600s, which is rumored to deliver improved performance over the current Dimensity 9500.

Redmi has not confirmed any details about the Turbo 6 Max yet. Since the smartphone is still months away from its official debut, more leaks will reveal the key details about it.
