Redmi officially teases the Redmi Turbo 5 launch in India, hinting at an India-specific variant

Redmi has officially confirmed that the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 will launch very soon. While the company has not revealed the complete specifications yet, early reports have already disclosed several key details about the device. Interestingly, current information suggests that this may not be the same variant as the Chinese market, hinting at a separate India-focused model.

As per some leaks, the Redmi Turbo 5 could hit the Indian market on June 10.

1.5K AMOLED display, 9,000mAh battery, and MediaTek chipset expected

According to Sanju Choudhary, a reliable leaker, the Redmi Turbo 5 could feature a flat AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution. The phone may also arrive with a premium metal frame alongside IP68 and IP69 ratings for improved dust and water resistance.

Under the hood, the device is expected to use an upcoming MediaTek chipset, although the exact processor remains unknown at the moment.

Battery appears to be one of the biggest highlights of the phone. Reports suggest that the Redmi Turbo 5 may pack a massive 9,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.

At the moment, Redmi has not officially confirmed the full specifications or launch date of the device. More details will surface in the coming days.
