Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G in Bangladesh. The new Redmi Note series smartphone comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro comes with a large AMOLED display, a Snapdragon chipset, a big 8340mAh battery and 67W fast charging. It is available in four colours: Black, Satin Orange, Purple and Sky Blue.
Redmi Note 17 Pro Price in Bangladesh
The Redmi Note 17 Pro price in Bangladesh is ৳54,999 + VAT. Xiaomi is offering the Bangladesh version with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone comes in four colour options: Black, Satin Orange, Purple and Sky Blue.
6.83-inch AMOLED Display
The Redmi Note 17 Pro has a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2772 × 1280 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling and animations feel smoother.
Xiaomi says the display can reach up to 3,500 nits of brightness in UHBM mode. It also supports 12-bit color, DCI-P3 wide color gamut and 447 PPI.
The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It also has 3840Hz PWM dimming, DC dimming and Wet Touch Technology 2.0.
Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 Processor
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 Mobile Platform. It is built on a 4nm process and has an octa-core CPU with a maximum speed of 2.4GHz. The Bangladesh model comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
For everyday use, the phone should handle apps, social media, browsing and multitasking without much trouble. It also has an Adreno GPU for gaming.
50MP Main Camera With OIS
On the back, the Redmi Note 17 Pro has a 50MP main camera with OIS. It is joined by an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The main camera has an f/1.85 aperture, while the ultra-wide camera has an f/2.2 aperture.
Xiaomi has added several camera features, including HDR, Portrait mode, Panorama, Documents and Pro mode. The phone can record videos at up to 1080p at 30fps.
For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera. It can also record 1080p video at 30fps.
Huge 8,340mAh Battery
One of the biggest features of the Redmi Note 17 Pro is its 8,340mAh battery.
The phone supports 67W HyperCharge, so you can charge the large battery quickly. It also supports up to 22.5W wired reverse charging, which can be useful for charging other devices.
The phone uses a USB Type-C port and supports PD 3.0 and PD 2.0 charging. Xiaomi includes a 67W charger in the box, though availability may depend on the local seller.
IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K Protection
The Redmi Note 17 Pro comes with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K protection. This gives the phone protection against dust and water under specific testing conditions.
However, Xiaomi does not recommend testing the water resistance yourself. Protection can also weaken over time due to normal use or physical damage.
Dual Speakers and Dolby Atmos
The phone comes with dual speakers and supports Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. Xiaomi also says the phone offers up to a 300% volume boost. Actual volume may vary depending on the software and situation.
HyperOS 3 and AI Features
The Redmi Note 17 Pro runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3.
It also comes with several AI features, including: AI Erase Pro, AI Glare Removal, AI Image Expansion, AI Sky, AI Bokeh, AI Image Enhancement, AI Beautify, Circle to Search with Google and Google Gemini
Some AI features may not be available in every country or on every software version.
Other Features
The Redmi Note 17 Pro supports 5G, 4G, 3G and 2G networks. It supports dual SIM, with nano-SIM + nano-SIM or nano-SIM + eSIM depending on the setup.
Other features include NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS and an IR blaster. For security, the phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor and AI face unlock.
