Xiaomi‘s sub-brand Redmi is going to launch the Redmi K90 Max along with Redmi K Pad 2, Pad 2 SE, Redmi Book Pro (2026) on April 21 in China. The company confirmed some of the key specs along with the launch date, a few days ago. Today we got leaks about more specs and color options.
The Xiaomi Redmi K90 Max leaked in two colors and in metal frame. Reliable leaker @Gadgetsdata teased the gaming monster in Blue and Silver color.

The Redmi K90 Max features a 6.83-inch TCL M10 display with a 165Hz refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits brightness. It’s optimized for high-FPS gaming, supporting 40+ titles at up to 165fps, with improved visibility in darker scenes. The phone also carries IP69 ratings for strong dust and water resistance.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, built on a 3nm process. On the rear panel, this device would feature a dual camera setup featuring a 50MP main camera along with an 8MP sensor.
A key highlight is the built-in fan cooling system with a vertical 18.1mm air intake, delivering up to 0.42CFM airflow. It quickly lowers internal temperatures to sustain peak performance, all without affecting the motherboard layout. The internal fan also uses a metal bearing structure, which should improve long-term reliability. Audio is another highlight, with 1115X symmetrical dual speakers tuned by BOSE.
Notably, the latest leak specifies that the K90 Max will feature an 8550mAh battery, refining earlier reports that suggested a capacity of either 8,000mAh or 8,500mAh.
As the official launch is taking place today, a complete picture will emerge shortly. It remains to be seen whether the Redmi K90 Max will meet the expectations of enthusiasts.
