Redmi K40S global variant arrives on Geekbench, could launch as POCO F4. The week before, Redmi finally took wraps of their Redmi K50 lineup in China. The line was launched with Redmi K40S. It was the cheapest phone that was announced on the day. The version that is available in the world for the smartphone is now making its debut on Geekbench. 


This Redmi K40S launched in China is codenamed ‘Munch’ , and it has the version number of 22021211RC. The version for the global market of this phone with model number 22021211RG was seen on Geekbench in just one week after the launch of the first version. It’s not the first time we’ve been being informed about the international version that is the redmi K40S (previously called Redmi K50). It has already been approved by various other agencies in the past.

There’s even an Indian version with code 22021211RI. According to the certifications, the phone will launch using POCO branding outside of mainland China. The phone is said to be named POCO F4. The handset is expected to keep the same name in India. 


When it comes to specs, it is likely to come with the same features similar to that of the Redmi K40S. But, there might be some slight differences in the design of the rear. We can anticipate the known as POCO F4 to be equipped sporting a 6.67-inch FHDwith 120Hz AMOLED display Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC with LPDDR5 RAM UFS 3.1 storage 48MP (wide OIS) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (macro) triple camera system 20MP selfie camera, two stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor MIUI 13 built on Android 12 4500mAh battery and 67W fast charging.
