Redmi K100 rumored to feature around a 10,000mAh battery

The Chinese brand Redmi has already launched the Redmi K100 Pro Max and Redmi K100 Pro a few days ago. We have heard about a standard Redmi K100 since the series first appeared, but the company has yet to launch it. Now the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station shared the early specs of the phone in a Weibo post today.
Digital Chat Station leaked some keyv details about the Redmi K100
According to DCS, the Redmi K100 may sport a flat display between 6.8 and 6.9 inches with a high refresh rate, and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
The biggest highlight of the leak is the battery capacity which will surpass the top end device of this series. DCS mentioned that the Redmi K100 will feature a massive battery of capacity close to 10,000mAh, about 1,000mAh more than the K100 Pro Max’s 9,070mAh battery.

It further claims, this device would feature symmetrical dual speakers, a large linear motor for haptics, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and IP68 dust and water resistance.
Previous rumors revealed that the first-gen Snapdragon 8 Elite will power the device. It features two 4.32GHz super cores and six 3.53GHz performance cores. The chip also uses an Adreno 830 GPU and supports LPDDR5X memory.

The phone could also feature a dedicated display chip alongside the main processor. This chip can upscale lower-resolution content and improve frame rates through frame interpolation. As a result, games can run at higher frame rates while keeping the image sharp. This helps avoid the usual trade-off between smoother gameplay and image quality.
Redmi has yet to confirm a launch date or comment on these specifications. The standard Redmi K100 could arrive later this year.
