Redmi continues to reveal more details about the upcoming Redmi K100 Pro Max ahead of its August 11 launch in China. The company has now confirmed the phone’s battery capacity, charging speeds, display technology, and a new color option. Pre-orders for the flagship smartphone are already live in China.
Massive 9,070mAh battery with 100W fast charging
Redmi has confirmed that the K100 Pro Max packs a massive 9,070mAh battery. The smartphone supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
Additionally, the flagship offers 27W wired reverse charging and 22.5W wireless reverse charging, allowing users to charge other compatible devices.
Redmi reveals more display details
The Redmi K100 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness.
Redmi now says the new panel delivers 20% higher luminous efficiency than previous display solutions. The company also uses a full RGB lossless pixel arrangement, which it claims offers sharper visuals than a traditional 2K display while consuming even less power than a 1.5K panel.
New Gold White color joins the lineup
Alongside the new hardware details, Redmi has also showcased the K100 Pro Max in a Gold White color option through official renders. The new finish joins the previously announced Cabernet Red variant, which the company revealed last week.
Redmi has already confirmed that the K100 Pro Max runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and features a Bose-powered speaker system.
The Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max will officially launch in China on August 11. Meanwhile, customers can already pre-order both smartphones through Xiaomi’s official online store.
