Redmi 12 specification revealed render and retail box surface. Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi released the Helio G85-powered Redmi 12C in December, and the company is likely to unveil the vanilla Redmi 12 soon. The Chinese business has yet to confirm the Redmi 12’s release date, but its Portuguese division unintentionally published the smartphone on its official website, divulging its specs, design, and price.
The listing has been taken down, but thanks to Twitter user @kacskrz and German site WinFuture, we know what the Redmi 12 will deliver. The Redmi 12 will have a 6.79″ FullHD+ 90Hz LCD with a punch hole in the center for the 8MP front camera.

And around the back, it will have a triple camera array with a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro/depth units. Powering the Redmi 12 will be a Helio G88 SoC paired with 4GB/8GB RAM. Storage will be 128GB/256GB, perhaps extending it up to 1TB with a microSD card.
The smartphone will contain a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood, charged using a USB-C port at up to 18W (instead of the projected 33W). The rest of the Redmi 12’s strengths include an IP53 certification, NFC, an IR Blaster, and Bluetooth 5.3.
The 4G smartphone will be 8.17mm thick and weigh 198.5g. The Redmi 12 will feature at least three color variations. And while WinFuture said it would be priced at €199, Xiaomi Portugal’s website showed it would cost €209.99. We predict €199 price for the base model, including 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.
