Realme has quietly introduced the Realme P4x 4G in select markets. The new model arrives as a more affordable alternative to the Realme P4x 5G, but it actually brings a larger battery and a refreshed design. The smartphone combines a massive 8,000mAh battery, a 120Hz display, and a 50MP camera, making it an interesting option in the budget segment.
Realme P4x 4G specifications and features
The Realme P4x 4G features a 6.8-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Unlike the 5G version, which uses a punch-hole design, the 4G model comes with a waterdrop notch.
Powering the device is the Unisoc T7250 octa-core processor. It is paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. Users also get a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Realme has equipped the phone with a massive 8,000mAh battery, which is larger than the 7,000mAh unit found on the 5G variant. The device also supports 45W fast charging.
For photography, the phone features a 50MP rear camera with autofocus. On the front, it carries a 5MP selfie camera for photos and video calls.
The smartphone also includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Connectivity features include dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, Bluetooth LE, and GPS. The handset measures 8.78mm thick, weighs 219 grams, and features a redesigned rear panel with an AI Pulse Light.
The Realme P4x 4G is available in Phantom Navy and Rally White color options. It is priced at MYR 799 ($195) for the 4GB + 256GB variant.
