Realme launched the Realme C53 in Malaysia last month. Now the Realme C53 is in India. But the new Indian variant comes with some changes. Let’s check the specifications, pricing, and availability.

The new Realme C53 comes in India with some changes in design, camera, and charging. The new Indian variant is thick, the camera is more powerful, and the charging capability is slower than the Malaysian one.
Specifications
The Realme C53 comes with a 6.74” IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. It is 7.99mm thick. Basically, It measures 167.2×76.7×7.99mm and weighs about 186 grams. It is powered by a Unisoc T612 chipset and paired up with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. you can add up to 6GB of virtual RAM and a microSD (up to 2TB). The C53 runs on Android 13-based Realme UI T Edition.
On the camera, it has a massive upgrade compared to the Malaysian one. It comes with a 108MP primary camera and 3x in-sensor zoom on the rear. On the front, it sports an 8MP selfie camera.
It boasts a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. On the other features and connectivity, there is a USB-C 2.0 port on the bottom, a single loudspeaker, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 4G, GPS/AGPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, magnetic sensor, light sensor, gyro meter sensor, and proximity sensor.
Price and availability
The Realme C53 comes in two colors in India- Champion Gold and Champion Black. It is available in two storage options 4GB/128GB and 6GB/64GB (odd but true). The 4GB/128GB variant costs Rs. 9,999 while the 6GB/64GB trim comes with Rs. 10,999 price tag.
The C53 is already available for pre-order in India from Realme’s online store. The open sale will begin on 26 July. You will be able to purchase it from Realme’s online store, Flipkart as well as brick-and-mortar stores. There is an early bird offer that will run from today until the 26th of July. Customers purchasing the Realme C53 using ICICI, SBI, and HDFC credit cards can avail of a Rs. 500 discount.
