There’s still no official confirmation about the Realme C100 and C100i. Even so, a user in Thailand has already showcased both phones in a detailed hands-on, and the C100 has even surfaced on a retailer’s website.
Realme C100 Specifications
The Realme C100 features a 6.8″ 144Hz LCD panel offering up to 900nits of peak brightness. It measures 166.3 x 78.1 x 8.45mm and weighs 210g. For dust and water protection, it has IP64 protection along with drop-resistance.
This budget device would be powered by the Dimensity 6300 and paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB storage with no expandable option. For photography, it would feature a 50MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie shooter. A 7,000mAh massive battery with 15W charging support will power this device. Among other features, there will be a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD slot.
Realme C100 price
The Realme C100 comes at an affordable price. Retailer BaNANA lists the 4GB/128GB version at THB 7,000 ($215), while the 6GB/128GB variant is priced at THB 7,500 ($230).
Realme C100 stands apart from the likes of the Realme C85 and Realme Narzo 90X in a few noticeable ways. A quick comparison highlights some key trade-offs. Most notably, the C100 falls behind in charging speed. While the C85 and Narzo 90X support 45W and 60W fast charging, the C100’s slower charging feels less suitable, especially considering its large 7,000mAh battery. It also offers weaker water resistance, compared to the IP68/IP69K rating on the C85 and IP65 on the Narzo 90X.
On the front camera side, both competing models feature 8MP sensors, whereas the difference with the C100 isn’t particularly significant in real-world use.
Another interesting point is pricing. The C85 is actually available in Thailand, where the 8GB/128GB variant costs THB 8,000. That’s just THB 500 more than the C100, yet it brings extra RAM along with better overall features. While the positioning may seem a bit unusual, the comparison clearly favors the C85.
Realme C100i Specifications
Realme C100i hasn’t appeared on retailer listings yet, so most details come from early hands-on impressions. This device is expected to be the more affordable variant, featuring a 6.8-inch LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 720p+ resolution. The display can reach up to 900 nits of peak brightness. It also packs a massive 7,000mAh battery.
In terms of design, the phone is slightly thinner at 8.35mm while still keeping practical features like the 3.5mm headphone jack. Durability also seems to be a priority, as the device reportedly passed MIL-STD-810H testing and can survive drops from up to 2 meters. It also carries an IP64 rating for basic dust and water resistance.
Performance-wise, the C100i is said to run on the Unisoc UMS9230 chipset, commonly known as the T606 or T616. This 12nm processor uses Cortex-A75 and A55 cores with relatively low clock speeds. One important limitation is that the chipset only supports 4G connectivity.
For comparison, the Realme C85 4G is powered by the Snapdragon 685, which uses older CPU cores but benefits from a more efficient 6nm process.
Realme C100i Price
While the pricing of the C100i remains unclear, the C85 4G is already available in Thailand at around THB 6,000 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.
