Realme has officially launched the Realme 16x in India as the latest addition to its Realme 16 series. The new smartphone brings a large battery, a high-refresh-rate display, and the Dimensity 6300 chipset at a starting price of INR 25,999.
Realme 16x Specifications and Features
The Realme 16x features a 6.81-inch LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel has a 1,570 x 720 resolution and reaches up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness. Panda-1681 glass protects the display from scratches and everyday damage.
The Realme 16x runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It runs Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 out of the box.
Realme has promised two Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates for the phone. The device also features a 5,300mm² vapor chamber to help manage heat during demanding tasks.
For photography, the Realme 16x features a 50MP primary rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. The rear camera module also houses a Pulse Light that can display notifications.
The Phone packs a 7,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. It also supports all-scenario bypass charging and 6.5W wired reverse charging.
The phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, MIL-STD-810H certification, and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. It can also be used with wet hands or while wearing gloves.
Interestingly, the Realme 16x is not an entirely new design. It is essentially a version of the Realme P4R and Realme Narzo 100x sold in India, but with a smaller 7,000mAh battery instead of their 8,000mAh cells.
Realme 16x price and availability
The Realme 16x comes in Glory White and Endurance Brown. The 4GB/128GB model costs INR 25,999, while the 6GB/128GB and 6GB/256GB variants are priced at INR 27,999 and INR 30,999, respectively.
The phone will go on sale in India starting August 13 through Realme’s official website, Flipkart, and mainline retail stores.
