Realme has officially launched the new Realme 16T in India. The smartphone arrives with a massive 8,000mAh battery,144Hz display, 50MP Sony camera sensor, and multiple durability certifications. Sales will begin on May 27 via Flipkart, Realme’s official website, and offline retail stores.
144Hz Display and Strong Durability
On the front, the OnePlus 16T features a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits peak brightness. The panel also includes a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. For protection, it arrives with MIL-STD-810H certification, and IP66, IP68, IP69, IP69K, and IP69 Pro ratings.
Realme offers the device in Aurora Green, Starlight Black, and India-exclusive Starlight Red color options.
Mid-range processor and massive vapor chamber
Under the hood, the Realme 16T runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM. The device ships with Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. The smartphone also includes a 5,300mm² vapor chamber cooling system, microSD card expansion up to 2TB.
50MP dual camera setup with AI features
For photography, the phone uses a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary camera alongside a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera. Realme also includes several AI camera features, such as AI Portrait Glow and LumaColor IMAGE technology for improved skin tones and lighting effects.
Massive 8,000mAh battery
The biggest highlight of the Realme 16T is its huge 8,000mAh battery. Realme claims the battery can maintain durability for up to seven years while offering up to three days of backup on a single charge. The phone supports 45W fast charging, 15W reverse wired charging, and bypass charging support.

The Realme 16T starts at INR 29,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model, while the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants cost INR 31,999 and INR 34,999, respectively.
