Qualcomm bringing Snapdragon 875 with 5 smartphone series

Hey, guys today we are writing about the big news of the smartphone world. Qualcomm will bring Snapdragon 875 very soon. They will be announcing it on December 1. Besides faster performance, the new chip will also bring support for 100W fast charging thanks to the latest Quick Charge 5.

According to the digital leakstar there will be 5 series of smartphones with Snapdragon 875 in 2021. It will offer the potent combination of the 875 chip and a 100W power brick.

Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup may be one of them, we’re already seeing them crop up in benchmarks. The OnePlus 9 Pro may be included among them. This also ran Geekbench. It will come out in March. Xiaomi MI 11 Pro will be a part of them. They took the speed test as well.

A Meizu phone is also running in this way. Don’t wait on LG. Because of Korean media reports that it won’t release 875 based phones in the first half of 2021.

But it is not clear that which phone will be leverage the 100W charging support of the chipset. According to the latest leaks, Samsung will contain 45W fast charging for the Galaxy S21 Ultra. But the Oneplus and Xiaomi maybe want to promote their own charging solutions as well.

At this point it’s all about marketing and brand recognition, all these phones will support USB Power Delivery in one form or another.

We’re excited to see what the Cortex-X1 core can do. It promises 20% higher sustained performance than the Cortex-A78.The X1 core using the Snapdragon-875 and Exynos 2100 as the first chips. Yet, Samsung isn’t able to make any schedule about upcoming devices with Exynos. But it can’t be far off if it’s to power the Galaxy S21 phones in some regions.
