Poco X6 series official teaser hints to feature Dimensity 8300 Ultra in India

Poco is gearing up to soon announce a new smartphone in the Indian market—the Poco X6 series. A recent teaser provides hints about the chipset that might power the device. Let’s take a closer look.

Poco India officially posted an image poster on X, announcing that an upcoming POCO smartphone will feature the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC. The company emphasized that this chipset will be the most potent in its segment. For those unfamiliar, the Dimensity 8300 Ultra is somewhat comparable to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

While the latest teaser does not specifically state that the POCO X6 will feature the Dimensity 8300 Ultra, the company’s India head Himanshu Tandon previously shared a teaser for the POCO X6 series earlier this week. In other words, it is likely that the POCO X6 lineup, which was previously rumored to include a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, will be equipped with the Dimensity 8300 Ultra. The POCO X6 5G also surfaced on the TDRA and NBTC earlier this month. An FCC listing also confirms that the X6 Pro will arrive with storage configurations of 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB.
