Guys, here we come with some surprising news. Some of you were surely waiting for Oppo’s next F series smartphone and expecting that it would be the Oppo F30 series. But surprisingly, Oppo is planning to introduce the Oppo F31 series, skipping the F30. A recent post from Abhishek Yadav on X has uncovered new information about the upcoming smartphones.
Oppo F31 Series Specifications ( rumored so far)
According to Yadav, the OppoF31 series will come with three models- the vanilla Oppo F31, an Oppo F31 Pro, and probably a more feature-packed Oppo F31 Pro Plus.
The Oppo F31 is said to be powered by the Dimensity 6300 processor and features a 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging support.
Likewise, the F31 Pro is said to use the same battery and charging setup as the vanilla model. But there would be an upgrade on the chipset by implementing MediaTek Dimensity 7300.
The Oppo F31 Pro Plus is shaping up to be the highlight of the series. Unlike the other models, it may sport a flat display, a design choice that blends style with practical everyday use.
The bigger change lies under the hood—reports suggest Oppo could swap MediaTek for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. However, the battery capacity and charging speed may remain unchanged.
In terms of launch, Indian buyers might not have to wait too long. Rumors point to a mid-September debut, with September 12 or 14 as likely dates.
So far, Oppo has yet to drop official teasers or certification hints. But with leaks surfacing from different sources, it seems only a matter of time before the company begins promoting the F31 lineup.
