Oppo Reno7 Z 5G is official with Snapdragon 695, AMOLED screen. Oppo has announced the Reno7 series in November last year, consisting of three smartphones namely Reno7 5G, Reno7 Pro 5G, and Reno7 SE 5G. This number has risen to four as of today, after Oppo is launching the new Reno7 Z 5G. This Reno7 Z 5G was slated to launch at an event tomorrow in Thailand at 4:30pm local time.

However, Oppo has already announced the specifications and functions included in its Reno7 5G ahead of the launch. The Oppo Renovo7 Z 5G has the 6.43″ 60Hz FullHD+ AMOLED screen that has punch holes in the upper left corner for its 16MP camera for selfies. 

The rear-facing panel of the phone, which sports its Oppo Glow Design, sports triple camera technology that includes the primary camera with 64MP resolution, a monochrome camera with 2MP resolution and two-megapixel depth sensors. The phone comes with AI-powered camera features. Additionally, we also have Dual Orbit Lights that light up when you get notifications or when the phone is charged. This feature isn’t exclusive on Oppo smartphones.

It’s been seen previously on the Reno7 Pro 5G. But the difference is that we’re getting RGB lighting that is placed on the camera’s edges, whereas those on the Reno7 Pro 5G has it on the camera’s island. The Oppo RNO7 Z 5G comes with its Snapdragon 695 SoC, which runs the Android 11 platform, ColorOS 12, and has 8GB of RAM that can be expanded to 5GB. 

It comes with 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1TB using an microSD card. The remaining Reno7 Z’s highlights are an on-side mounted fingerprint reader, water resistance NFC, 3.5mm headphone port, USB-C as well as a battery that’s 4,500 mAh with a charging capability of 33W. Oppo claims that the included 33W adapter is able to fill this cells from 100% to 30% within 15 minutes, and fully charged within the span of 63 minutes.
