Oppo K12 may be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor
The Oppo K series, a lower mid-range smartphone lineup, is sold in China and select global markets. Notably, Chinese variants boast superior features at a competitive price. The Oppo K11, the latest in China’s K series, launched in late July 2023, and its successor, the Oppo K12, with a leaked chipset name, is imminent.
Digital Chat Station reports that the upcoming Oppo K12 will run on a Qualcomm SM7500 chip, specifically belonging to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. This chip hasn’t been used in any existing phones. It’s officially a step down from the previous Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2. The tipster didn’t disclose much about the Oppo K12 but hinted that while the price-to-performance ratio will be good, the display won’t be outstanding.
The previous Oppo K11 featured a Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G chip. To check the full specifications of the Oppo K11 click here.
