OnePlus Nord comes with stable OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12. OnePlus released the latest beta version of its Oxygen OS software for the original OnePlus One back in April.

It appears that the initial release was somewhat successful, as OnePlus has begun distributing a stable OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12 to users as well. Customers outside of India may have to wait a while longer, but they’ll be very happy in the meantime as this update comes in at just 4GB and also includes the April 2022 security patch.

OnePlus shared this information via its community forum and also issued some advice on potential bugs with future updates of their software.

Known issues:

  • The display of some pages in Settings will be different from the system.
  • The screen will glitch in specific scenarios when calling.
  • Camera may crash when shooting photos in Portrait mode.
  • The abnormal display of thumbnail when taking burst pictures.
  • The abnormal display of Quick device connect when in the Guest mode.
