OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra launches with Dimensity 9500, 8,600mAh battery & gaming controller
OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra in China. The device focuses heavily on performance and gaming, offering flagship hardware alongside dedicated gaming features and accessories. Key highlights of the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra are: 165Hz LTPS OLED display, Dimensity 9500 SoC, a dedicated gaming controller, and a 8,600mAh battery.
165Hz display with a bold design
OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra features a 6.78-inch 165Hz LTPS OLED display from BOE offering 1.5K resolution. The panel also supports up to 4000Hz instantaneous touch sampling and high peak brightness levels.
In terms of design, the phone features a metal frame with a bold look. It comes with a flat, cube-style camera module and rounded edges. The device also carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for durability.
The OnePlus Ace 6 is available in two color options: Ace Awakening and Metal Storm.
Dimensity 9500 Performance, Gaming Kernel, and Advanced Cooling Features
Under the hood, the OnePlus Ace 6 is powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset, built on an advanced 3nm process. OnePlus focuses heavily on gaming performance here, claiming better efficiency and stable high frame rates.
OnePlus says the chip uses an all-big-core CPU architecture, delivering up to 32% better performance and reducing power consumption by 55% compared to the previous generation.
It also integrates a “Wind Chaser Gaming Kernel”, paired with a Glacier Cooling System and a large 6000mm² vapor chamber for heat control. The phone runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16 on top. LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage complete the setup.
The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra supports an optional Strix Gaming Controller with a joystick-free design. It uses mechanical trigger buttons with a 1.8ms response time for precise input. The controller also includes a dedicated e-sports chip and supports attachable magnetic cooling modules for improved thermal performance.
50MP OIS dual setup
The phone features a 50MP main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, it includes a 16MP selfie camera.
Massive 8,600mAh battery
The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra packs a massive 8,600mAh dual-cell battery. It supports 120W fast charging along with multiple charging standards.
OnePlus Ace 6 Price
The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra starts at CNY 3,499 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The 16GB + 256GB model is priced at CNY 3,799, while the 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 512GB options cost CNY 4,099 and CNY 4,399, respectively. The top-end 16GB + 1TB variant goes up to CNY 5,099. The optional Strix Gaming Controller is available separately for around CNY 449.
