OnePlus will reveal the global launch of the OnePlus 12 and 12R smartphones on January 23. These flagship devices have already been introduced in China, and the global version is anticipated to share the same specifications. Simultaneously, the brand is teasing features of the OnePlus Ace 3 (12R) and Buds 3 before their launch in China on January 4. Ahead of the official launch, details about the variants and color options of the OnePlus 12 and 12R for the Indian market have surfaced.
Ishan Agarwal, an industry insider, leaks details about the OnePlus 12R, revealing a starting configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, with an option for a 16GB + 256GB variant, mirroring its predecessor, the OnePlus 11R. The device will be available in Iron Grey and Cool Blue colors. Meanwhile, the base model of the flagship OnePlus 12 gets an upgrade to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, a welcome improvement from the OnePlus 11, which launched above Rs 50,000 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The OnePlus 12 will also offer a 16GB + 512GB storage option, doubling the storage from its predecessor, and will come in Flowy Emerald and Silky Black color choices.
