Motorola Moto G64 5G, the first smartphone with Dimensity 7025 SoC to launch on April 16

Motorola recently released a teaser for a new mid-range smartphone from the G series. It’s called the Moto G64 5G and will hit the Indian market next week. The teaser spilled the beans on the device’s important specs and features before its official launch. Let’s take a closer look.

Motorola Moto G64 5G teaser details

The brand announced that the G64 will debut in India on April 16, 2024, coinciding with the European launch of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. It will be the world’s first smartphone with the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 SoC. Additionally, Motorola revealed that the device boasts a substantial 6,000mAh battery, claiming it’s the best in its class. Therefore, it’s likely to be a mid-range phone.

Moto G64 5G specifications

The Moto G64 5G supports 33W fast charging and boasts a 6.5-inch LCD panel on the front with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its rear houses a 50-megapixel primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. Powered by the Dimensity 7025 chip, an overclocked version of the Dimensity 7020, similar to the Moto G54.

It offers up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, expandable by up to 12GB with virtual RAM. Running on Android 14 OS, it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass with an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance. Weighing 192 grams and measuring 8.89mm thick, it features dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support for audio.
