Motorola Moto Edge 50 Pro to launch in Europe around mid-April, pricing leaked
Motorola introduced the Moto Edge 50 Pro smartphone in India a few days ago. It’s a mid-range phone with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, a good camera setup, and a great display. They’re also getting ready to release it in the EU. Recent reports showed the Eurozone price and now a new leak from Appulas gives more details on the EU launch and pricing.
Motorola Moto Edge 50 Pro European pricing and launch schedule
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is launching in Europe around mid-April, according to Appuals. It will have a single configuration: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, priced at €699. In India, this same configuration was priced at 35,999 INR, roughly converting to 398 Euros or US$432. There’s also a cheaper 8GB + 256GB option in India, priced at 31,999 INR (~354 Euro/US$384). So, Europeans might pay about 60% more than Indians.
The phone will be available in Lavender, Black, and Pearl colors, the same as in India. It will also include a 125W charging adapter in the package.

The Edge 50 Pro features a curved 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 1220 pixel resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel shines brightly at 2,000 nits. It’s the pioneer smartphone boasting Pantone-validated colors, ensuring precise real-world colors and skin tones. It comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner also.
Software, Chipset, and performance
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and paired up with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. This device comes with Motorola’s latest HelloUX interface, built on Android 14, which introduces innovative AI-driven options for personalized wallpapers. The Moto Edge 50 Pro will pioneer support for Motorola Smart Connect, a fresh suite of continuity functions spanning smartphones, tablets, and PCs by Motorola and Lenovo. These features facilitate seamless interaction across devices, including external screen support and data synchronization.
Camera
On the back, it features a triple camera setup- a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.4 aperture and OIS alongside a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom and a 13MP ultrawide lens which also doubles as a macro cam. On the front, it has a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus. The Edge 50 Pro marks Motorola’s debut in AI Photo Enhancement Engine technology, tailored for capturing motion and segmenting colors.
Battery
The Edge 50 Pro has a 4,500 mAh battery with 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It’s IP68 rated for water and dust resistance.
