Motorola plans to reveal a new smartphone in India named the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. They started hinting about it last month and just confirmed that it will hit the Indian market on April 3rd. Let’s check here what we are getting from it.

Display and Design
The phone will have a 6.7″ pOLED curved screen. The resolution is 1.5K and its refresh rate 144Hz. Pantone-validated colors will be on the display. This ensures accurate real-world colors, including skin tones. The device will come with a metallic frame and a silicone-based vegan leather back.
Processor and OS
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. It has a Kryo 715 Prime core running at 2.63 GHz, along with three Kryo 715 Gold cores and four Kryo 510 Silver cores running at 1.8 GHz. This processor supports Qualcomm FastConnect 6700 for Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. It will run on Android 14 out of the box and will get 3 major updates in the future.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro to feature spectacular AI-generating Theme
The phone will use Generative AI for theming. Popular artists will curate wallpapers in 15 genres. AI will power the cameras too. Motorola teased a Style Sync AI Generative Theming mode and AI Adaptive Stabilization for videos.
Camera and Charging speed
The rear camera boasts an f/1.4 aperture, the widest in its class, as per the brand’s claim. This implies that the lens opening, which lets light into the camera, is wider. Consequently, more light enters, making it perfect for capturing portraits with sharp subjects and blurred backgrounds. On the front, there will be a 50MP autofocus selfie camera. The monstrous Edge 50 Pro may feature 50W fast charging.
