Leak suggests Oppo Find X10 Pro Max could feature a triple 200MP camera setup

Talk about the upcoming Oppo Find X10 series has been making rounds online for some time. The series is rumored to include three models: the Find X10, Find X10 Pro, and Find X10 Pro Max.

In a recent update, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station suggested that one of these devices might come with a rather unusual camera configuration. Most probably, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max could reportedly feature three 200MP sensors on the rear.

According to Digital Chat Station, the device could include a 200MP ultra-wide camera that uses a 1/1.56-inch sensor. This would be noticeably larger than the sensors most smartphones currently use for ultra-wide photography.

The tipster had earlier mentioned that Oppo is also testing a new 200MP sensor that might be even bigger, reportedly close to 1/1.3 inches.

This sensor is said to support technologies called 4×4 RMSC (Rearranged Pixel Color Information) and UFCC (Ultra Full Color Capture). These technologies aim to deliver better color accuracy and improved dynamic range in photos. Reports also suggest the sensor may rely on an advanced production method designed to enhance overall image quality. If true, this unit could serve as the primary camera.

Meanwhile, the telephoto camera is also rumored to use a 200-megapixel sensor. However, details about the sensor size or its manufacturer have not surfaced yet.

Apart from the camera system, the Oppo Find X10 series could become one of the first smartphones to run on the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9600 processor.

That said, Oppo has not confirmed any of these details so far. Still, the leaks hint that the company may be testing a highly ambitious camera setup for its next flagship lineup. More information should appear as the launch gets closer.
