iQOO has started teasing a new Z-series smartphone for the Indian market, and all signs point to the arrival of the iQOO Z11. While the company has yet to announce an official launch date, a recent teaser, benchmark listing, and multiple leaks have already revealed some key details about the upcoming smartphone.
iQOO Z11 India launch teased
iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya recently shared a teaser on X that strongly hints at the arrival of the iQOO Z11. Interestingly, the first letter of each line in the post spells out “Z11,” subtly confirming the device’s identity.
Although iQOO has not revealed any specifications yet, the teaser suggests that the smartphone could launch in India very soon.
iQOO Z11 expected specifications
A recent Geekbench AI listing spotted an unreleased iQOO smartphone carrying the model number I2514. The listing revealed that the device runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7500 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and Android 16.
According to a recent Gadgets360 report, iQOO will market the chipset as the Dimensity 7500 Turbo. The report also claims the smartphone will feature a curved AMOLED display on the front. While the remaining specifications are still under wraps, the device is expected to pack a large battery, similar to other iQOO Z11 models available in different markets.
Notably, iQOO already sells the Z11 with different chipsets in other regions. The Chinese variant features the Dimensity 8500, while the Malaysian model comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor.
iQOO 16 may skip India this year
Meanwhile, recent reports suggest the iQOO Z11 could be the last iQOO smartphone to launch in India this year. The upcoming iQOO 16 is still expected to debut in China around September or October, but it may not arrive in India due to rising memory costs. If that happens, the flagship could become even more expensive than the iQOO 15, which launched at INR 72,999.
