iQOO Neo 12 launching on October 28, design and color options confirmed
iQOO recently confirmed that it will launch the flagship iQOO Neo 12 this month. The company also revealed promotional materials that unveiled some of the key specs. Today we got the exact launch date, design, and color options for the Neo 12.
iQOO Neo 12 will launch in China on October 28. It is also available for pre-order in the home market. This device will arrive in three colors: Fierce Edge, Shadow Black, and Frost Blade Blue.
Talking about design, the iQOO Neo 12 will feature a polished metal frame and a square camera module on the back. At the bottom-right corner of the camera module, there is an active built-in cooling fan. The Shadow Black and Frost Blade Blue variants will have a plain back in coal black and ice blue shades. The Fierce Edge model will feature a dynamic texture on the back.
According to previously leaked official promotional materials, the iQOO Neo 12 will be the first phone with a Visionox 2K 185Hz LTPS OLED display. The display will offer 2200 nits HBM peak brightness and 800 nits manual brightness. There will be an Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner under the display, and it will also have an IP68/IP69 rating against dust and water.
Under the hood, the Neo 12 runs on the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The chipset pairs with a Q3 gaming chip, 16GB of RAM, and a built-in cooling fan. A massive 9,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging will power the Neo 12.
