iQOO 16T could pack Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, 2K Samsung display tipped
The iQOO 16 may launch in September, but Vivo is already testing another flagship. A new leak has revealed the first key details of the rumored iQOO 16T.

Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station claims Vivo is testing the iQOO 16T with Qualcomm’s upcoming 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset (not finalized yet). However, the company is also evaluating MediaTek’s next-generation Dimensity 9600 processor.
The leak also suggests that the iQOO 16T will feature a flat 2K Samsung display. Vivo may also equip the phone with a built-in active cooling fan to deliver better gaming performance and improved thermal management during long gaming sessions.
Although the iQOO 16 could debut in September, the iQOO 16T may arrive later. Vivo launched the iQOO 15T only two months ago, so the company is unlikely to introduce its successor this year.
Vivo has not confirmed the existence of the iQOO 16T yet. More leaks should reveal additional details in the coming months.
