Apple’s Q1 window next year will be open for the iPhone 18, iPhone 18E, and iPhone Air 2. Among the trio, the iPhone Air 2 will steal the show with major upgrades. The Air 2 could be even thinner than the iPhone Air, with a significant upgrade in battery capacity.
We saw that last year, the iPhone Air was criticized due to a single rear camera and a lower battery. So, Apple is trying to fix the issue with an upgrade to the Air 2.
Some reliable leakers on X have revealed some of the key specs of the iPhone Air 2. According to the leak, the Air 2 will arrive with a 5.2 mm ultra-thin design and may get a battery with around 3500mAh capacity. In contrast, last year’s iPhone Air measured 5.6mm and featured a 3,149mAh battery.
The iPhone Air 2 will reportedly feature a dual rear camera setup including a 48MP main camera along with a 48MP Ultra-wide sensor. On the front, there will be an 18MP center-stage front camera.
Among other key specs it may offer, 6.5″ ProMotion M16 OLED Display, A20 Pro 2nm Chip, C2 Modem, Single Speaker, and Smaller Dynamic Island.
