Apple is preparing to expand its iPhone lineup with the Base Model iPhone 18, expected to launch in Spring 2027. While it sits below the Pro series, leaks suggest it will still bring major upgrades in performance, design, and software.

The iPhone 18 is rumored to feature a 6.3-inch 120Hz OLED ProMotion display. The Dynamic Island and Face ID will remain, giving the phone a modern design and secure authentication.
Performance is handled by the A20 chip built on a 2nm process, paired with 12GB RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. On the camera side, the base model will sport a dual-rear camera system with wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses, expected to feature 48MP sensors. Apple is also packing iOS 27, with enhanced AI features and an upgraded Siri.
