iPhone 17 Pro Max to launch with a 48MP periscope telephoto camera, in 2025

iPhones create a huge hype before their launch always. We got the iPhone 15 series a few days ago. We have heard some rumors about the iPhone 16 already. But here we come with a surprise, the iPhone 17 Pro Max launching in fall 2025.

Jeff Pu, an analyst specializing in Apple’s supply chain, states that the upcoming Vision Pro headset will feature a 48 MP telephoto camera optimized for it. Unfortunately, he doesn’t provide specifics about the optimization. Notably, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, with iOS 17.2, will be capable of recording spatial video with 3D depth for playback on the Vision Pro headset.

The upcoming 17 Pro Max could make history as the first Apple device to feature three 48 MP cameras on the back, building on the iPhone 15 Pro’s 48 MP main camera and the anticipated 48 MP ultrawide camera in the iPhone 16 Pro.

Certainly, take all this with a grain of salt. We’re nearly two years ahead, and plans can shift. Even if Apple is currently considering these actions, unforeseen circumstances may lead to adjustments.
