iPhone 15 demand is getting lower than for iPhone 14

iPhone 15 demand is getting lower than for iPhone 14. This autumn, the iPhone 15 family is anticipated to debut with higher prices and smaller bezels. It’s interesting to note that according to current estimates, demand for the new series is lower than it was for the iPhone 14 range when it first debuted last year.

According to renowned supply-chain researcher Ming-Chi Kuo, this is the case. His most recent report states that “demand for the iPhone 15 is lower than that of the iPhone 14”. Of course, this is currently simply a prediction.

According to Kuo, most suppliers would see growth pressure in the second half of the year “unless the demand for the iPhone 15 is better than market expectations after launch.” But it’s not just iPhones. In comparison to last year, “shipment forecasts for Apple’s hardware products in 2H23 are almost universally weaker” (“2H23” refers to the second half of 2023).

Apple stating unequivocally “that it’s positive about market demand in 2H23 or 2024” is one item that might turn the tide on the predictions. Although it hasn’t happened yet, it might yet happen.
