Infinix Smart 8 debuts in India with Helio G36 and a 50MP main camera
Today, as planned, Infinix released the Smart 8 smartphone in India. It shares similarities with the Smart 8 HD but has a distinct chipset and camera setup. Check out its features and price details here.
Infinix Smart 8 Specifications
The Infinix Smart 8 features a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate a peak brightness of 500 nits, and a punch hole for the selfie camera.
The Smart 8 is powered by a Helio G36 processor and paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with an extra memory card slot with supports up to 2TB of storage. It runs XOS 13-based Android 13 out of the box.
It features dual cameras on the back – a 50MP main sensor, an auxiliary lens, and an LED flash. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera.
A 5,000mAh battery with 10W Type-C charging support boasts it.
The other features are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 186 grams in weight, a pill-shaped cutout that shows charging and status updates, similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island, Bluetooth 5.1, and Dual SIM.
Pricing and color options
This device will come in four colors- Galaxy White, Rainbow Blue, Shiny Gold, and Timber Black. The device costs Rs 7,499 in India for the 4GB /64GB version. You can buy it via Flipkart starting January 15 at 12 PM.
