Huawei’s foldable Mate X2 will launch on 22 February

Huawei is one of the best smartphone brands in the world. Huawei is a master of high efficient smartphones. Till now we saw the foldable smartphones from Samsung. But now Huawei is working with a folding device. According to Huawei Weibo, it will be a successor of Huawei Mate XS. It will be the Huawei Mate X2. MateX2 will be launched on 22 February 2021. This comes shortly after a report speculated the design was folding smartphone’s launch was imminent.

The poster teases the Mate X2’s display, which will invert the folding direction of the screen to an inward-folding one.

According to the previous report, a diagonal screen size of 8.01” with a resolution of 2480 x 2222, and since the phone will fold inwards like the Galaxy Z Fold 2. It will feature a 6.45” external display also. It will reportedly support a 90Hz refresh rate on these displays, supplied by Samsung and BOE. The Mate X2 will be powered by the 5nm Kirin 9000 5G chipset. It may have a 4400mAh battery and Android 10 based OS.
