Huawei Nova 12 Ultra front design, chipset, and key specs leaked

Huawei is gearing up to unveil the Nova 12 series of smartphones in China on December 26. Recent reports spill the beans on the Nova 12 Ultra, hinting at an under-clocked Kirin 9000s, also found in the Mate 60 series, suggesting potential two-way satellite communication support. A fresh leak on Weibo not only reveals the front design of the rumored Nova 12 Pro but also confirms key specs, including its new chipset.

The leaked image of the Nova 12 Pro running the Device Info HW app suggests a dual selfie camera setup with a pill-shaped cutout on its screen, similar to the Nova 12 Ultra. The curved-edge OLED screen is expected to have a resolution of 2776 x 1224 pixels and a potential refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Notably, the leak indicates that the device is powered by the unreleased Kirin 8000. And it also features 12 GB of LPDDR4 RAM along with a Hi1105 NFC chip. The model number mentioned is ADA-AL00.

Tipster Digital Chat Station also shared that the Nova 12 Pro, will feature a 6.78-inch display. The Nova 12 Pro may feature a 60MP + 8MP dual selfie camera setup. And a 50MP main camera on the back with an f/1.4–f/4.0 variable aperture. Similar to the Ultra model, it may house a 4,600mAh battery with 100W charging. Both the Pro and Ultra models support 5G. Rumors claimed that the Nova 12 and the Nova 12 Lite will have 4G chipsets.
