Huawei has officially expanded its presence in Bangladesh’s consumer device market by launching several new products. At its recent “Now Is Your Spark” event in Dhaka, the company unveiled 13 devices across multiple categories, including smartphones, foldables, tablets, smartwatches, and audio products. Among the biggest highlights of the launch were the flagship Huawei Mate 80 Pro and the foldable Huawei Mate X7, both of which are now officially available in Bangladesh.
The launch marks Huawei’s renewed focus on the local market after several years of limited activity in its consumer device business. Huawei has also announced a nationwide distribution network, allowing customers to purchase devices through official channels with warranty coverage, genuine spare parts, and dedicated after-sales support. With the Mate 80 Pro and Mate X7 now entering the Bangladeshi market, Huawei is once again bringing its premium flagship and foldable smartphone experience to local consumers.

Display and Durability
Huawei Mate 80 Pro features a 6.75″ LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3000nits peak brightness. This display offers 1440 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, up to 300 Hz touch sampling rate, 1.07billion colors, and Huawei Kunlun Glass 2 protection.
It measures 161.85 mm x 76 mm x 7.95 mm and weighs approx. 219 g. For protection and durability, the Mate 80 Pro offers an IP68/IP69 rating.
Performance
Huawei has only launched the 16GB/512GB model in Bangladesh. It is powered by the Kirin 9030 Pro processor. While the 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB variants used the Kirin 9030 chipset in China. The 9-core CPU is paired with the Maleoon 935 GPU and runs on EMUI 15 based on Android 16.
Camera
For photography, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro features a triple camera setup on the back, featuring a 50MP ultra lighting main camera with a variable aperture from F1.4 to F4.0, a 40MP ultra-wide camera, and a 48MP ultra lighting macro telephoto camera. The phone supports 4x optical zoom, up to 100x digital zoom, and can record videos in 8K. On the front, the phone sports a 13MP front camera that supports 4K video recording.
Battery and other features
The Huawei Mate 80 Pro arrives with a 5,750mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging and 80W wireless Super charging.
For connectivity and security, it supports single SIM/dual SIM with 4G connectivity, along with WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB Type-C ear-jack, 3D face unlock, a fingerprint scanner, and an infrared sensor.
