Huawei Mate 60 and Mate 60 Pro launched officially in China

Huawei has been working with its Huawei Mate 60 series and we have reported various leaks and rumors about this flagship. Now the waiting is over, Huawei has launched the Huawei Mate 60 and Huawei Mate 60 Pro. Here are the full specifications, price, and availability.

The Huawei Mate 60 Pro launched yesterday and the Mate 60 launched today. We are sorry to inform you late. But here we have added both of their specifications and pricing in this news. So, Here we go.

Huawei Mate 60 Specifications

The Mate 60 comes with an OLED FHD+ flat screen with a resolution of 2688 x 1216 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, and 1440Hz PWM dimming. This display is protected by second-gen Kunlun glass and IP68-ratings. It measures 161.4 x 76 x 7.95mm and weighs 209 grams.

Huawei Mate 60 Display

The chipset hasn’t been revealed by Huawei but it may be the Kirin 9000S SoC. It comes with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 3.1 storage. It runs with Harmony OS 4.0 operating system.

On the front, it features a 13MP selfie camera on a single punch hole. On the back, it has a circular camera island containing triple cameras- a 50MP primary camera with f/1.4-f/4.0 variable aperture and OIS support + a 12MP ultra-wide lens+ a 12MP periscope telephoto lens with OIS and 5x optical zoom, and 50x digital zoom.

The Mate 60 comes with a 4,750 mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging.

Huawei Mate 60 color options

This device comes with three storage variants- 12GB/256GB costs 5,499 Yuan (~$750), 12GB/512GB costs Rs 5,999 Yuan (~$820), and 12GB/1TB variant priced at Rs 6,999 Yuan (~$960). It will be available for sale from September 10 in China. The color options are- Yadan Black, White Sand Silver, South Waxy Purple, and Ya Chuan Qing (green).

The Huawei Mate 60 Pro launched yesterday. Obviously, you can guess that it has some upgrades over the vanilla Mate 60 Pro. Let’s check what we have got.

Huawei Mate 60 Pro display with three punch holes

This device features a big 6.82” 10-bit LTPO OLED screen with a 2720 x 1260 pixels resolution and 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate. It is also protected by a second-generation Kunlun Glass on top. On the display, there are three punch holes. It features an IP68 rating, which means it will be waterproof up to a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes, and is protected from dust – all without the need for extra cases or covers.

On the front, the trio holes come along with a 13MP selfie camera and sensors and lasers for 3D face mapping for the Face ID feature. On the back, it has a circular camera island that also contains a triple camera setup- a 50MP primary camera with OIS and PDAF with f/1.4-f/4.0 variable aperture like as Mate P50 Pro and P60 Pro+ 12 MP ultrawide camera with f/2.2 lens + a 48 MP sensor and an f/3.0 telephoto lens with OIS, and AF.

Probably Mate 60 Pro and Mate 60 may feature the same chipset but it isn’t confirmed yet. It is paired up with 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB/51GB/1TB of internal storage. It runs with Harmony OS 4.0 operating system.

On the battery option, it has a 5000mAh battery which supports 88W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 20W reverse wireless charging. The color options are- Green, Silver, Purple, and Black.

The Huawei Mate 60 Pro is available in Huawei’s Vmall in China for 6999 Yuan with its 12GB/512GB variants. The most interesting thing is both Mate 60 and Mate 60 Pro support two-way BeiDou satellite messaging in China.
