Huawei debuts P50E, nova 9 SE and new colors for the P50 Pro in China. This week is packed with announcements of new phones and Huawei is on board with its latest addition to its P50 series, including a brand new Nova 9 SE midranger as well as three brand new colours for its P50 Pro flagship.

Huawei P50E
The Huawei P50E is a less expensive model of Huawei P50 with nearly identical specs , except for the processor that is lowered to Snapdragon 778G (the version with 4G). In other areas, the phone is comparable to its premium counterpart through all the key specs and down to size.You have the 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED , with 90Hz refresh speed and punched-holes that are centered for the 13MP camera.
The back features the dual-circle camera island that includes a 50MP main snapper as well as a 13MP ultrawide camera as well as a 12-megapixel telephoto that has 5-x zoom optical. The software portion is protected by HarmonyOS 2.0 and the battery section is at 4,100 mAh, and comes with the 66W charge.
The P50E comes with the same three color options: Obsidian Black Cocoa Gold, Snow White colours as the P50 along with the brand fresh Galaxy Blue hue. Huawei P50E is equipped with 8GB RAM, which is standard. It also comes with 128GB or 256GB of storage. The basic 8/128GB trim cost CNY 4,088 ($644) and the trim of 8/256GB costs CNY 4,488 ($706).
Huawei nova 9 SE
The other latest Huwei phone to be featured is the Nova 9 SE. The name implies that it has a similar design to the nova 9, but has a different processor and battery, as well as the main camera has 108MP – the first camera on an Huawei handset to be able to do this to.
The phone also has an 6.78-inch display but with it’s an LCD, not the OLED display on the standard Nova 9 and an incredibly fast 90% refresh speed. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 4G chipset, and has 8GB of memory and 128GB of storage as normal.
The main camera of 108MP at the back is joined by an ultrawide 8MP and two 2MP sensors to capture macro photos and depth information. Huawei nova 9 SE starts at CNY 2,199 ($346) for the 8/128GB trim , and then increases to 2300 CNY ($378) with the 8 GB model.
New P50 Pro colors
In addition to these two phones Huawei has also introduced three new colors to it’s P50 Pro flagship. Three of them, the Cloud Brocade White and Danxia Orange models come with faux leather textures and The Galaxy Blue hue features a glossy glass with a frosted finish.
