Honor X70 Pro Max launches with an 8,560mAh battery and Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Enhanced

Just days before the debut of the Honor X80 Pro Max, Honor has quietly launched the new Honor X70 Pro Max in China. The smartphone arrives with a large battery, a high-brightness AMOLED display, and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Enhanced chipset.

Honor X70 Pro Max Specifications

The Honor X70 Pro Max features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a 2640 × 1200 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Honor claims the panel can reach up to 6,000 nits of peak brightness. The display also comes with ultra-slim 1.3mm bezels for a more immersive viewing experience.

The phone is available in Bamboo Green, Phantom Purple, Phantom Night Black, and Sunburst Gold color options.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Enhanced processor paired with the Adreno 810 GPU. The handset comes with 8GB RAM and offers up to 512GB of internal storage. It runs MagicOS 10.0 based on Android 16 out of the box.

For photography, the Honor X70 Pro Max features a 50MP primary rear camera housed inside a circular camera module. On the front, the device includes an 8MP selfie camera for photos and video calls.

Battery life is one of the biggest highlights of the X70 Pro Max. The smartphone packs a massive 8,560mAh battery and supports 90W wired fast charging.

Other notable features include an IP69K rating, dual stereo speakers, an infrared blaster, and a fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB Type-C port.

Price and Availability

The Honor X70 Pro Max starts at CNY 1,999 ($295) for the 8GB + 256GB variant, while the 8GB + 512GB model will be available at CNY 2,399 ($355).

Interestingly, Honor is already preparing its next battery-focused flagship, as the upcoming Honor X80 Pro Max may launch on June 22 with an even larger 11,000mAh battery.
