Honor is going to launch the Honor Win2 series featuring Honor Win2, Win RT2, and Win Turbo2 on October 21. Ahead of the official launch, a Weibo leaker has unveiled specs for all three flagships, along with images of their retail boxes. This upcoming flagship series is already in pre-order in China.
Honor Win2, Win RT2, and Win Turbo2 key specifications
All three models will feature a 6.89-inch flat 185Hz LTPS OLED display with 2K resolution and a metal frame. This trio will also share IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection, dual 1216 symmetrical speakers, and an 0809 X-axis motor.
Regarding the rest of the specifications, the Honor Win2 will be at the top of all models. The Honor Win2 will feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip, LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage. It also gets a dual-fan cooling system to ensure smooth performance and keep the device cool.
In contrast, the Honor Win RT 2 will get the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 along with the same LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage as the standard one, and an active cooling fan. The performance specs for the Win Turbo 2 are still under wraps. However, we may see the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor under the hood, without any active cooling fan support.
In the camera department, the Win 2 standard and Win RT 2 model will get a 200MP main camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor and OIS support. The Turbo 2 model has a 50MP main camera with OIS.
For power, the Honor Win 2 will have a 10,100mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support. Surprisingly, the Win RT 2 and Win Turbo 2 will come with a 12,070mAh battery with 90W charging support.
For security, the Win 2 and Win RT 2 will have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, but the Turbo 2 variant has an optical fingerprint sensor. The standard model offers USB 3.2 Gen 1, and the other two models have a USB 2.0 port.
Storage Configurations and colors
A previous report confirmed the color options and storage configuration. The new report also shared the same memory configurations.
All the Win 2 Series phones will come in Red and Blue Buff, Black, and White color options. For storage configurations, the Win2 will be available in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB variants.
The Win RT 2 will come in four configurations: 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB. The Turbo 2 will have five models: 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB.
