Honor appears to be preparing the next-generation Honor Win 2 lineup. A new Weibo leak has now revealed key details of the upcoming smartphones. It has leaked about the display, battery, and processor of the Honor Win 2 and Win 2 RT.
Honor Win 2 series key specs leaked on Weibo
According to the leak, the upcoming Honor Win 2 may feature a large 6.89-inch display with “2K+” resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate. Reports suggest the phone could use an LTPS panel.
Under the hood, the device may use the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset, although it remains unclear whether Honor will use the standard or Pro version of the processor.
The battery could become one of the biggest highlights of the phone. The leak suggests that the Honor Win 2 may pack a massive 10,000mAh+ battery.
The lineup may also include the Honor Win 2 RT, which is tipped to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Apart from these two models, reports further hint at a third Win 2 series smartphone with a 1.5K display and high refresh rate panel.
At the moment, Honor has not officially confirmed the launch timeline of the lineup. Since Qualcomm may announce the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset in September, the Win 2 series is unlikely to launch before then.
